The efficiency of aquaculture practiced in recirculation system types depends by more than one factor, among which the most important is the energetic consumption of the system. To assure a high grade of energy conservation in an aquatic recirculation system, it must be maximized the water recirculation grade and impose the utilization of some unconventional energy sources for heating, respective cooling the water. For this purpose the optimum solution is using an installation for heating/cooling the water with heat pumps.
