In this paper we present the preliminary results regarding the testing in Romania of some sunflower hybrids with middle or high oleic acid. We find that some of these hybrids have a yielding potential close to standard hybrids, but they have some morph-physiological deficiencies like: susceptibility to breaking, falling, and scorching heat and Botrytis cinerea.
