Sector growth and exploitation of pigs in the Western part of Romania has undergone deep changes since the abolition of agricultural cooperatives , privatization and / or bankruptcy livestock farms . Its recovery is evident through a growing trend as far as pork production in the area analyzed is considered, by modernization efforts of a large number of operating farms.
