Research carried out in the Timiş Plain  concerning the behaviour of some green peas cultivars in conditions of differentiated fertilising pointed out the possibility of getting  yields above 2,700 kg/ha. Protein content varied between 24.6% and 27.3%, and protein yield varied between 343 kg/ha and 773 kg/ha.
