In this paper the authors present the results of their research concerning the evolution, changes and fertility of the soils and, implicitly, of agricultural lands due to social and economic activities within the Lovrin area (Timis County). The paper aims at presenting the fertility potential of agricultural lands in the studied area and at identifying fertility limiting factors.
