Abstract: this paper presents various types of applications of geosensor networks in agriculture. Since the sensor technology has developed rapidly in recent years it led to emergence of systems which provide autonomous monitoring of environment – the geosensor networks. These networks have various areas of application, one of them being the agriculture. Usage of geosensor network in agriculture results in more efficient usage of recourses, less production costs, higher yields and higher degree of environment conservation.
