The paper presents and analyses a new ensiling method for green fodder, by manufacturing a specialised machine which answers the pressing of chopped fodder into a polyethylene bag, in view of its ensiling. Further on, we present the working process and the main technical characteristics of green fodder ensiling machine MIF, as well as the social and, economic advantages of fodder ensiling in polyethylene.
